Remembering

Victors was interesting. Located within Mission Bay Golf Course, it was both a concert venue and a full service restaurant. It was both an indoor room and an outdoor mini-festival site. It pushed the edges of jazz, rock, reggae, and blues. And, it brought together some of the most spirited people that I have worked alongside. Cost of Gas

Saving gas is great, given my close proximity to Mission Trails Region Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country. This spring, I took the opportunity to better familiarize myself with the peaks, trails, lakes, streams, animals, and flowers found within the park. If interested in a day hike with outstanding views of San Diego (from beach to east county), then I highly recommend the Rim Trail. For spring photos of Mission Trails Park, click here.

Winter Exit

A few passing words before the transition from winter to spring. A special thank you to Mike Keneally. Not only were his winter shows at the Belly Up and 4th & B some of the most inspirational band performances I’ve ever seen, but they offered a great opportunity to photograph Mike, alongside accomplished bassist, Doug Lunn, and internationally renown drummer, Marco Minnemann. Outside of music, winter also offered a few good rainstorms for Southern California. One rainy weekend provided an adventuresome opportunity to visit local destination, Cedar Creek Falls, near Julian, CA. Dirty Thirty Revisited

One year later and so many more new photos to see.

If you can’t access the new photos of the Dirty Thirty Party of ’07, let me know and I’ll send you the link. We wouldn’t want the rest of the world to see how dirty we were (or still are?). Anyway, if you were there, you know what I’m talking about. The crazy hair, wild dancing, fabulous cake, dirty prizes, other unmentionables.

Oh yeah, and wasn’t there a band playing too? We were at Winston’s, so of course, and though I don’t remember much of them, I know it was Deadline Friday. That’s where my memory starts to fade, but thanks to the photos, I can at least remember dancing with Ace – wouldn’t want to forget that moment!

Seriously, you all made the night one for the books, and Anna’s blue hair close-up I’d have to say is my number one pick, you make a great 70′s disco queen girl!
